Description
We are Jana and Roman, a German couple traveling to South America. We recently finished our teaching degree (elementary school and special education). Before we will work in a school, we want to enrich our lives with meaningful experiences in the areas of (agri-) culture, language, nature and sustainable living. Therefore, we want to travel the South American continent and share good conversations and moments with locals and travelers. We also want to learn Spanish, listen to new music, make new friends and give something back to other people along the way.
We are happy to help with any kind of work in order to have many diverse experiences.

We would like to improve our Spanish language skills to be able to communicate easily. Jana does already have some experiences (school/traveling) and Roman starts with basic Vocabulary but is eager to learn more to take part in Spanish conversations. Of course we would although share our language skills if you are interested:)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Jana: I completed my teacher training at university (special education). I had many different part-time jobs and some work-away/helpX experience, which taught me to be flexible and always openminded. I used to help my brother taking care of his big garden in Sicily, which made me interested in improving my gardening and building skills and knowledge about sustainable living. I like to cook and do any kind of outdoor work. I have done a yoga teacher training and would like to deepen my practice during the trip.
Roman: I have completed my teaching degree as well (elementary school) and am now looking for additional experiences aside my future job; I have experience in:
-different outdoor sports (ski/kite/surf/soccer instructor)
- in several service and kitchen jobs
-basic gardening and construction work
-fishing and outdoor living
--> we are eager to learn new skills during our trip and support you in any possible way
