Description

Hi, my name is Jaimy. I am a graduate in Biology and am currently enjoying my gap year by staying active and being outdoors. Whether it's in nature, with animals or related to foods and nutrition. I find satisfaction in starting a hands-on project or challenge in my free time. On the one hand I try to plan everything as best as I can, but on the other hand I want to live day by day and stay open minded for new things! I choose Costa Rica as my next destination because of its nature and biodiversity, can't ignore the biologist in me :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have an academic interest in health and nutrition, but I am passionate about the environment and animals as well. In my free time I ride and care for horses and some sheep. I am currently employed as a manager in a restaurant, where I've worked as a side job for a few years before hand. I am enjoying the hands-on work and experience in hospitality, before persuing my career and starting my masters in Human Biology in September.
I went on a trip called 'world citizen internship' a few years ago, were I helped with projects and interacted with the locals. I would like to do something similar again and am hoping to contribute some of my skills to help others.

I am in love with running and swimming, but also enjoy spending time relaxing, solving puzzels, and reading books. I have travelled a lot during the last few years and am looking forward to another big adventure!
