Hola, me llamo Isabel, tengo 39 años y me encanta conocer, aprender y disfrutar de todo lo que este maravilloso mundo ofrece :)
He pasado gran parte de mi vida en mi lugar de origen, las Islas Canarias (España), pero mi curiosidad y mi interés por diferentes culturas y entornos naturales me han llevado, desde hace años, a viajar por distintos lugares del mundo.
Soy una persona tranquila, optimista, paciente y cariñosa. Disfruto mucho charlando, escribiendo, bailando, paseando, compartiendo y aprendiendo. Intento llevar un estilo de vida saludable, manteniéndome activa y pasando el mayor tiempo posible en la naturaleza. Me encanta estar al aire libre: la montaña, los ríos, el mar y los animales me hacen muy feliz.
Una de las principales razones por las que participo en voluntariados es que considero que es una forma muy bonita de conocer otras formas de vida, adquirir nuevas habilidades y formar parte de proyectos con propósito. Es una experiencia de crecimiento personal muy enriquecedora y me gustaría seguir explorándola.
Tengo experiencia en diferentes voluntariados: algunos relacionados con la educación (mi ámbito profesional en España) y otros en áreas diversas. Todos ellos han tenido en común el trabajo en equipo, algo que disfruto y en lo que me siento cómoda.
En mis próximos intercambios me gustaría aprender nuevas habilidades relacionadas con el trabajo con la tierra, la sostenibilidad y distintas formas de autocuidado. También estoy abierta a escuchar ideas y propuestas donde pueda colaborar.
Por mi parte, siempre ofrezco respeto, responsabilidad y honestidad, valores que también valoro recibir.

Hello, my name is Isabel, I am 39 years old and I love discovering, learning and enjoying everything this wonderful world has to offer :)
I have spent most of my life in my hometown, the Canary Islands (Spain), but my curiosity and interest in different cultures and natural environments have led me, over the years, to travel to different parts of the world.
I am a calm, optimistic, patient and caring person. I really enjoy talking, writing, dancing, walking, sharing and learning. I try to live a healthy lifestyle, staying active and spending as much time as possible in nature. I love being outdoors: the mountains, rivers, the sea and animals make me very happy.
One of the main reasons I take part in volunteering is because I believe it is a beautiful way to learn about different ways of life, gain new skills and be part of meaningful projects. It is a very enriching personal growth experience, and I would love to continue exploring it.
I have experience in different volunteer projects: some related to education (which is my professional field in Spain) and others in different areas. All of them have involved teamwork, something I really enjoy and feel comfortable with.
In my future exchanges, I would like to learn new skills related to working with the land, sustainability and different ways of self-care. I am also open to hearing ideas and proposals where I can collaborate.
On my side, I always offer respect, responsibility and honesty, values that I also appreciate in return.

Me considero una persona responsable y empática. Intento relacionarme desde el respeto y crear un buen ambiente con las personas con las que trabajo.
Me gusta trabajar en equipo, aprender cosas nuevas y participar en distintas tareas cuando es necesario.
