Description
I am a passionate traveler and wildlife conservationist. I enjoy the outdoors and making a positive impact on nature and wildlife. I worked in a Nature Reserve in South Africa, living in an unfenced research and volunteer camp in Big Five territory; I've experienced life in an anti-poaching K9 training ground in South Africa; got involved into wildlife rescue-rehab-release in the mountains of Italy; and conducted research on wild elephants both in Africa and Asia.
I am always eager to learn new things and skills and get hands-on with new projects.
I love and admire the wild, being surrounded by nature and wildlife has a thrill that is hard to explain!Centres d’intérêt

I am always looking forward to learning about the culture of the place I am going, and that includes putting an effort into learning the local language, at least some basics! And I am more than happy to help someone learn a language I am already familiar with.Compétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

During my time spent mostly in Africa (and Asia), I was involved in a lot of different activities, including reserve maintenance, rhino monitoring and dehorning, game counts, wild firefighting, snare sweeping, anti-poaching patrols, various research data collection, pangolin reintroduction and release, security camera ID, working dogs, and more. While in Italy I was helping with wildlife rescue, rehab and release, experiencing all three aspects of it.
I studied Applied Animal and Environmental Welfare to be able to work in wildlife conservation.
I am versatile. Travelling a lot and working abroad I developed the ability to adapt easily to different types of situations and scenarios. I am open-minded and a hard worker. I was also very lucky to get the chance to work in different parts of the world, experience different cultures, and work with a wide variety of international people with all sorts of backgrounds and knowledge. And I can't wait to carry on and expanding my knowledge and field experienceÂge

Autres infos...
I love exploring the outdoors, going hiking, swimming, biking, and just venturing around. But I also love doing some artsy projects such as crocheting, string art, sewing, cooking and baking, and I am always on the lookout to learn something new!
I also grew up doing gymnastics, so I do like physical activities, exercising, stretching, and a handstand every now and then goes a long way!
I have "family" all around the world, people whom I've shared incredible experiences with, and whom I am lucky enough to call family, and I love keeping them updated on my next adventureInformations complémentaires
