Description
Hey, we're Ina and Citlally - two friends traveling together. In the following we will introduce ourselves a little bit.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey, I'm Ina :)
I'm 26 years old, from a small town in northern Germany, and currently living in Mexico. I've always loved to explore the world - around me and also far away. I've been like that since I was a kid. Back then, it was me observing frogs in the ponds, going on adventures in my neighborhood, and asking all of the questions in the world. The older I got, the more I wanted to understand what makes things tick. I feel like there is so much endlessly to learn and see, and I am very grateful to have gotten the chance to travel quite a lot.
Experiencing the world and getting to know many different cultures led me to pursue a master's degree in International Relations and work in Humanitarian Aid, focusing on Child Protection. The more I see and learn, the more I understand that we live in a very complicated and cruel world - and sometimes it really makes me want to give up. I know I won't be able to ever change the world, but I won't stop trying to be part of a much-needed shift. Before I start a Ph.D. on (kind of) that same topic in April, I would love to go on another adventure with my best friend, Citlally.
During my first time in Mexico, I met Citlally, and we instantly clicked. We always say how crazy it is that we connected like that, despite being from very different contexts. I grew up in a small fishers' town in Germany; she is from a ranch in southern Mexico. Two different continents; two completely different structures to grow up in. It shows how people are just people. Regardless of where you are from, there is always something that you can have in common. Becoming best friends over a short period of time was beautiful, but saying goodbye when I had to go back to Germany was devastating. Somehow, I found my way back to Mexico though :) I am forever thankful for her bringing me to her hometown and showing me where she is from. Her taking me into her family and making me feel at home will always be very special to me, and now it's time to return the favor and show her around Europe.
I feel like I wrote so much now and got real cheesy, but maybe I shouldn't edit it because that's just who I am - chatty and kinda cheesy :) I hope it gave you some idea of who I am.

Autres infos...
We are both very active people, love nature, hikes, running and sports. We sing and dance a lot and love to connect with the people around us. We also love to spend evenings cooking, chatting and just hanging out. At the same time, if one of us needs some alone time it's never been a problem.
