Hola, my name is Imke, 29 years old, just spent three months in Mendoza as an exchange student. I studied the history of latinamerican philosophy and am very inspired by it, since it is abot liberation! I am in Buenos Aires just for a week, but will be close to Mar de Plata during the whole December. In total I will stay in Argentina until Febuary. I would love to meet some people!:)

Kindness, real connections and solidarity are very strong values of mine. And I want to expereience them in different shapes they can appear. For me, these values do not only regarding humans but all living on this planet. I have some theoretical strategies and philosophies due to my studies (Transition Studies). I really enjoy getting to know alternative ways of living and learning from all the people who have created wonderful more sustaiable lives. Also I enjoy sharing my thoughts and my knowledge how we could turn societies into more life-affirming communities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I've been studying in the socialscience field the past nine years and actually looking forward to teach at university (fingers crossed!(:), I like to talk about everything regarding feminism and sustainability and I would be happy to share my knowledge. Also I've been dealing with my mental health for the past years and might share experiences which could help others. But these are all very metaphisical skills. There are also some practical ones!:D

I like sewing, already did many bags and some clothes. I did do some gardening - but I want to expand my skills! I have good logical thinking and can handle some tools, just have some hesitations regarding these types of works. I am good at organizing stuff (events, projects...). I would fancy myself as a good cook and I like to cock for largesized groups (I also worked in a kitchen of a cafe). I am a creative person and like crafting and painting. I also don't mind cleaning and will do it properly, if this is the help you need.

I am quite tough, sometimes a bit insecure at the beginning of new things. I like getting my hands dirty, working with other people and learn learn learn !

I think that we all are able to do so much more than we think we can. Myself and also many people I meet in everyday life were growing up in social-boxes and tend to not really know what they actually want for their lives. I live with many insecurities and since some years I am searching for how to live a life more freely and selfpowered. Again and again I learn trusting myself, in life and in other people. That's why I need to travel - to experience more of life and to get to know more opportunies how to step out of my frame!:)
