Hello!
I am a bright and bubbly individual who has travelled to 38 countries and had a wide range of jobs from Engineering to Care Work, and from Finance to Teaching English abroad. I have also just completed a Nursing studies course in Ireland to add to my armoury.
I first did workaway in Germany and then back in the UK and Ireland. Most recently I added Belize and Guatemala to my list...
It's been a very diverse experience for me, with both the living conditions and the work itself. I've met some incredible people whilst on my workaway endeavours.
The one thing that is a constant with me is the desire to help people, in whatever capacity that may be. I like to totally immerse myself in new experiences (even if that means getting out of my comfort zone!) as I feel this is how to get the most out of workaway. Trying things that you wouldn't normally do is all part of personal growth in my opinion (plus the hosts seem to love it when you dive 'head first' into whatever they may be involved in!).
I would like to continue on this workaway journey so if you are looking for a positive team player who isn't afraid of a bit of hard graft then I'm your man!...😊

I stayed with Donna for just over 3 weeks and it was quite an experience! There were 3 other workawayers there too (Lahari, Tyler and Maëve). The main project was working on a puppet for a carnival in Kendal. It was quite stressful at times but we all 'mucked in' and ended up being a formidable team. Ian is an ideal workawayer. He's conscientious and hard working, enthusiastic, meticulous, and takes pride in his effort.
