Description
I am a curious, organized, and passionate person who always keeps my room tidy. Super lover of music. Good at cooking. I love my culture (learning the origin and development of our characters, poems, history, folk songs, etc).

I have been to many places in China, the US, South Korea, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Japan. I have studied at Boston University and love that place very much:)

I always want to learn more about different cultures and talk with people who love to share them. I want to be a global-oriented person with critical thinking, and that's why I joined Workaway:P

I am willing to teach you Chinese and the culture behind it, (That's a looooot! XP) from the creation of the characters, mythology and folk stories, and diet culture, to ethnic minority groups and scenes in different parts of China. I can also help with English teaching. Rare Bird Community has 20+ members that focus on tour performance, wellness center (in town), etc. During my 18-day stay, I helped in the kitchen (washing, cutting veg & washing plates), and stage (rolling papers, moving stuff, cutting cupboards, etc.). I really enjoy my time at this community. It is a great community just like its name. I can find comfort, security, and happiness in this well-designed three-floor house (with a garden). There used to be part of the imperial tomb for Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming dynasty, reigning from 1368 to 1398. Zhu Yuanzhang was the son of impoverished peasant tenant farmers, forced to be a wandering beggar after his family's death in the famine; became a monk, a rebel, a militarist, and an emperor; he killed most of his companions after the establishment of his emperor. Now nature takes back control...

She was here at a rare time when there there were not any other volunteers (other seasons of the year we have up to a dozen).
