  • Description

    Hello!

My name is Haley, and I’m someone with an insatiable curiosity about the world. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some truly incredible places—Switzerland, England, Scotland, Portugal, France, Italy, Norway, Greece, Guatemala, Peru, Mexico, and beyond. And I don’t plan to stop there. Each place I visit leaves a lasting impression, and I find myself constantly learning, growing, and seeking out new adventures. I’ve always felt a deep connection to the world around me, and I’m passionate about immersing myself in new cultures—not as a tourist, but as a local, embracing the essence of what makes each place unique.

People often describe me as an "old soul," and I’ve come to embrace that. I believe in the power of deep connections—whether it’s through shared experiences, heartfelt conversations, or simply spending time together. Family, community, and love light up my soul. I find great joy in giving and receiving love, and it’s something I treasure deeply. There’s something so grounding about being in touch with those around you, and I carry that sense of belonging with me wherever I go.

Work, for me, is not just about tasks and deadlines; it’s about fulfillment. I find deep satisfaction in doing meaningful work that challenges me and makes me feel whole. Nature is also a big part of who I am—I feel at peace when I’m connected to the earth, whether I’m gardening, hiking, or simply observing the world around me.

I’m a firm believer that travel offers some of the best education life can give. It teaches you more than any classroom ever could. That’s why I’ve chosen to live my life with an open heart, always seeking new experiences, perspectives, and relationships.

As a pescatarian, I also believe in the power of food to nourish not just the body, but the soul. I’ve done my research on why a plant-based diet, with the occasional fish, is a sustainable and nourishing choice for both the planet and my body.

On the lighter side, I’m quick with a sarcastic remark and have a deep appreciation for humor in all its forms. Life is too short not to laugh at the little things. I cherish the small moments—like sharing a meal, having a casual chat, or just being in the same room with someone. But I also love diving into the deeper, more meaningful conversations. There's something so powerful about getting to know someone beyond the surface.

In the years ahead, I plan to continue building meaningful relationships with the people I meet on my journey. I believe that the connections we make along the way are what shape our stories. Perhaps the next person I meet on this path is you.

    - Experienced in social media management, content creation, and maintaining websites.
-Currently managing social media for a construction company, where I handle regular posting, content planning, and engagement with followers.
    - I also run my own YouTube channel where I share my travel experiences, and I’m passionate about video editing. I have extensive experience with editing software and am skilled at creating engaging content.

-Lived in England where I worked on a donkey farm, learning animal care, farm maintenance, and developing an appreciation for working with diverse farm animals.
-Also spent time in Scotland, working at a remote farm where I helped with daily operations and assisted in the farm shop, interacting with customers and handling farm products.
    - Experienced in gardening in Switzerland, where I fell in love with local agricultural practices. I’ve returned every year for the past 3 years to continue learning and growing my passion for horticulture.

I am an endlessly curious person, always eager to learn and explore new things. Life has so much to offer, and I’m excited to dive into experiences that challenge me and broaden my horizons. Right now, I’m particularly passionate about gaining new skills—like sailing, improving my outdoor rock climbing abilities (which I’ve already started to enjoy), and getting better at surfing. These are just a few of the activities that inspire me to grow and push my limits.

I have a deep love for spontaneous day trips—those little adventures that lead to big memories. Traveling to nearby areas, discovering hidden gems, and getting out of my usual routine is something I look forward to. I also find joy in arts and crafts, whether it’s drawing, painting, or building something from scratch. It’s a creative outlet that keeps me grounded and connected to my surroundings.

Being active is another part of who I am. Hiking, kayaking, swimming, snowboarding, biking—the outdoors is where I feel most alive. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about being immersed in nature and challenging my body to keep up with it.

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to stay with hosts in Switzerland, England, and Scotland. Each place offered me unforgettable experiences and life lessons, and I look forward to the many more that are waiting for me in the future. I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and sharing these experiences with others along the way.
