Hello! I’m Gil and I’m taking a gap year before university and I’m looking to travel Latin America with Workaway. I've always been interested in different Latin American cultures, customs, and ways of life. For years I've studied Spanish not just in school but also on my own with music, books, news, and other media from Latin American countries. I’m very excited to further explore these various cultures through Workaways and getting a more personal and inside view of countries and cities. I am also very friendly and eager to meet new people, become fluent in Spanish, and gain life experiences. I’m adventurous, handy, driven, and I love to learn new skills. I’m looking forward to what Workaway has to offer!

¡Hola! Soy Gil y estoy haciendo un año sabático antes de la universidad. Busco viajar por Latinoamérica con Workaway. Siempre me han interesado las diferentes culturas, costumbres y estilos de vida latinoamericanos. Durante años he estudiado español, no solo en la escuela, pero también por mi cuenta, con música, libros, noticias y otros medios de comunicación de países latinoamericanos. Tengo muchas ganas de explorar más a fondo estas diversas culturas a través de Workaways y obtener una visión más personal y profunda de los países y ciudades. También soy muy amigable y tengo muchas ganas de conocer gente nueva, dominar el español y vivir nuevas experiencias. Soy aventurero, práctico, motivado y me encanta aprender nuevas habilidades. ¡Estoy emocionado para descubrir lo que Workaway me ofrece!

I love Spanish and am very conversational in it. I have learned it for 8 years and would like to be immersed. English is my first language and I’m good at teaching it. Me encanta el español y lo hablo muy bien. Lo he aprendido durante 8 años y me gustaría sumergirme en él. El inglés es mi lengua materna y se me da bien enseñarlo.
