Description

Hey I'm Georgie, I left my little country village in the North West of England in October 2023. Since then I have travelled through Victoria and Tasmania, stopping to work for 3 months doing a dairy farm calving in SW Victoria. After working i went to Thailand and Indonesia for 12 weeks, to escape the cold in Victoria.

I like being in nature and am a definite water-baby, I love a cold swim in the ocean when I can. I am happy hiking up a hill or just finding a spot with a view to chill and have snacks.

I love all animals big or small, I rescued my dog in 2020 and he went everywhere with me in the UK. Working with Animals is something I would like to continue doing, perhaps combining my holistic interests and skills.

I completed my Reiki level one in April 2024 and want to continue to practice and develop this skill. I am interested in holistic medicine and would love to learn from any hosts who are like minded.

Permaculture and food production is something I would really like to get some hands on experience with. As in the future I aspire to grow as much food for myself as possible.

This trip is mainly for me to find which career path I am destined for and make some like minded friends along the way, and obviously see some of the amazing sights Australia has to offer.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

10 years experience working on farms and horse livery yards in the north of England.

3 years experience working at a horticultural nursery, attending to plants, trees and shrubs.
I am fascinated by the medicinal properties of plants and would like to learn more about this.

Extreme pride in my work, I will always do the best I can in anything I'm doing.

I have lots of hands on experience doing day to day animal care, including veterinary tasks.

** I fully renovated my own house in 2020 with my dad, so I am used to hard graft. Rebuilt it from concreting, plasterboarding, to painting and decorating...

Hammers, drills, grinders, jack-hammers, chainsaws ect **

Involved in maintenance of fences, sheds and property.

Experienced tractor driver and can tow a trailer.

I am a quick learner when I'm shown what do, and mostly I feel I have good common sense.
