Description
Hey, I am Freya from Belgium, currently travelling around Europe by van. The last 2,5 years I have spend doing the same thing in New Zealand.
Before that I have travelled on and off, doing different projects, jobs and Workaways.

I'm interested in all the weird and wonderful things this world has to offer. And in return I can offer the skills I have learned along the way: I'm a certified yoga teacher with a focus on embodiment and interoception, worked as a chainsaw operator for over a year in NZ, I am handy with power tools and enjoy physical work, have a keen technical eye to figure out how stuff works. I am comfortable off road driving and driving large vehicles, still improving my trailer skills.
I have some experience cooking for larger groups and living in different kinds of communities. I've seen the ins and outs of disaster relief work and have some experience organising events.

In general I am an easy going person. I don't need a lot of luxuries and enjoy getting to know my fellow humans. I'm self-sufficient and also enjoy my alone time. It's all about that balance :)

I love to dance and move in nature. Hiking, both long and short trips.
I'm really keen on learning about herbalism and working with plants. I'd love to find a mentor/teacher.
Also interested in self-sufficient and off-grid living and alternative societal structures. I just love to learn and question reality.

We feel blessed that Freya was with us for about 3 months. She shared abundently her skills and was very involved in different areas of our center. I stayed on Dan's boat for 2 months and it was an amazing experience. We sailed from the Florida Keys to the Bahamas and took part in the a Regatta.

Staying with uncle Jack was like being at home. He made me feel very welcome and the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. He took us, the volunteers and guest, on little trips to see the sights in the area and arranged for me to climb the mountain last minute. I really enjoyed my stay there and the food is amazing.

I stayed here near KL for 2 weeks and it was to short. The camp runs really well and the team working there is awesome. Everyone made me feel very welcome and we had some really good times.
