Hellooo :)

My name is Katja, I am 25 years old and from Germany. What brings me the most motivation is trying to make the best out of any situation and trying to see things in a positive light. I gain most of my happiness watching the sunset or interacting with people, laughing, and hanging around cats or other animals. In a world that endures so much suffer I try to focus on the small things while doing my part in making this world a better place to live in.

Heyy, I am Franka, also 25 and from Germany. I am a very open-minded, active, and enthusiastic person. I am always down to move, to create or let off energy and to deeply connect to my social and natural environment. I love going on adventures, getting to know new people and cultures, experiencing new things and acquiring new skills. Most importantly though, I try to be the change I wish to see in the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We studied our master's in environmental psychology together where we learned about the interactive dependencies of humanity and the environment. The study has helped shape our view on the world and our belief in the necessity of a shift towards a more sustainable way of living.

Together, we have a wide variety of skills to offer :))

- Experience in tool-using over the last years in various smaller and bigger building projects - from festival work over renovating a house to building a bar counter and smaller handymen and -women work.
- Being part of the green garden committee in Groningen, a group of students that took care of a university garden that had been initiated bottom-up by students themselves. As a team we would organise meetings, decide on planting-, weeding-, and watering schedules, and carry out the gardening tasks necessary in each season of the year.
- Experience with children of all ages through babysitting, supporting her mother in her work as an at home kindergarten teacher, working in a summer camp for children for several years, volunteering abroad with children.
- We are also a big fan of cooking delicious vegan meals. By now we have mastered preparing dishes from a high and low variety of ingredients that cover nutritional baselines and make use of as much of the produce as possible. We both have cooked for different sizes of groups of people ranging from just a few friends to up to 200 people.
- Katja is also currently working as a dishwasher in a restaurant and as a home keeper, so you can be assured that cleaning in the kitchen and the rest of the house will be done by a professional ;)
- Franka has lived in shared living spaces for 6 years now, in different constellations, so cleaning is also nothing new to her :)
- We both value and have learned a lot about open and honest communication (non-violent communication).
- Being able to adapt easily to new circumstances, people, and cultures. We are both very uncomplicated and easy-going.
