Hi!
I'm Florence, 27 years old from Belgium. I really love to travel, so I decided to take a few months break from my working life in Brussels, and discover some new countries.
There are so many lovely places on Earth, I've seen a very small part of them, but it really makes me happy to discover new ones! I'm also very easy going and looove to meet people from all over the world, learn about their culture or how they cook (I love cooking!), and follow them in their daily life which is so different from mine.
I got a degree in bio-engineering, so it creates in me a great interest in nature, environment, and sustainability. Thanks to that, I always try to live in a way that respect nature, animals, and other people of course.

As I mentioned in my skills, I already taught English to some Ecuadorian kids and it went quite well! Also, as a scout animator and babysitter for so many years, I developed quite a good contact with kids and love to teach them some stuffs. Concerning adults, no problem neither as it is what I do at work now (for sustainability stuffs). And again, I love to learn as many things as possible, including languages because I believe it really helps to meet people and travel after :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First of all, I want to point out that I really like to discover and learn new thing, so even if the workaway you propose is not really already in my skills, I would be very glad to learn with you! :D
As I said, I studied bio-engineering, which gave me quite some knowledge about nature (biology, animals, farming, sustainability). In my last job, I was raising awareness in the company concerning sustainability, which taught me to communicate well about that topics, to be able to listen, share, understand and adapt.
During my studies years, I was a scout animator, with children from 6 to 17 years old. I really enjoyed that, I believe to have a nice relationship with kids and that is really something I would like to do again. Play with them, teach them some English (I did that in Ecuador) or some sustainability basics.
Also, I speak fluently French, English, quite some Spanish, and a bit of Dutch as well. Any other language would also be nice to learn!
Last thing, it is not on this Workaway profile, but 4 years ago I travelled with my ex boyfriend in South America, and we did several really nice workaway's: in hostels, for a rafting camp, for nature preservation in Amazonia, teaching English or learning to farm. All my reviews were very good (I promise ;) ), and each time I really enjoyed sharing with the hosts or the others workawayers.
Do you have any other skills that I can learn with you to add on this list? :D

I can teach you to make some good French/Belgian fries if you show me how you cook in your country! ;)

And I realize I haven't talked about my hobbies which are: cooking, hiking, reading, doing yoga (or other "calm" sport), playing with pets or kids, sleeping under the sun,...
