Hello,
My name is Fiona I am 34 years old from England. I am a solo traveller.
Currently I work as cabin crew for an international airline and I travel all over the world. 🌎. Travel is my greatest passion and I have been fortunate enough to go to many countries and to meet lots of amazing people on the way.

I have a degree in English and American Literature so the main skill I can share is speaking English and learning English. I am more than happy to help you improve your language skills.

I love animals aswell and am fit and able to do most tasks. In my spare time I do sports, yoga and meditation 🧘‍♀️

I have experience working on farms in Australia. I have tractor driving skills and learned some animal husbandry whilst I was out there.

I also obtained a bachelors degree in English and American Literature and have a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as Foreign Language).

I love the outdoors, travel, animals. I am very keen to start yoga and I also practice meditation.

Nestled in the nature and woodlands on the West side of Sweden you will find a small animal farm with two horses and two cats. If you venture here you will also be fortunate to meet a very lovely Norwegian lady called Tove in Sweden.

This small farm exudes happiness, joy, peace and tranquility; everything that is vital for the soul. I have not… read more felt so peaceful in many years. The view from the cottage is astounding in the mornings and there is a door directly from your room to the veranda. The environment here feels like something from a fairytale. It is a phenomonally beautiful place. A very short walk away is a big lake and I would recommend it for swimming. The stable is next to the house so you are able to interact with the horses (Heiker - Icelandic pony and Hubi - Spanish horse) on a daily basis. After a few weeks I built their trust and they were happy to see me. Tove is building her riding arena so any carpentry skills would be very useful!
Aside from the lovely farm where I extended my original stay Tove also showed me many cool touristic sites in the local area. There is a big English manor house with a phenomonal garden view, a farmers market and and a restaurant. We also visited Falkenburg and Varberg two coastal towns. The fortress in Varberg is really cool and in the spring and summer months the sea has bathing spots. Varberg is the local summer vacation town and I can see why. I also splashed out on a trip to the Spa which is the only salt water spa in Sweden. It was very luxurious and relaxing. All in all I left here feeling rejuvenated, positive and inspired.

You will be able to learn a lot from Tove about ecological living and eating. Also she has some very experienced and good views on animal care and welfare. Furthermore, she is a very open and curious lady who has experience and interest in Travel and really cool stories to share. Also, she is very good to talk to and she is very kind, caring and compassionate which is why her farm is a happy place! I have learned some valuable lessons here.

Anyone who is interested to stay here would be very lucky to meet Tove and her animals in exchange for farm work. Also her veranda would be really cool for yoga in the summer months. I would highly recommend this workaway it is good for the soul and I left here feeling inspired. I do miss her place a lot and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to share her life here.
Tips: I recommend the bakery in Tvaaker called Sott Som Salt they have very delicious buns here (best in Europe). Also you would need to be under the height of 6 foot 1 to be comfortable in the cottage with the low ceilings.
