Hello, welcome to my profile!
My name is Filip, I’m from the Czech Republic and currently on a gap year before starting university. I would like to spend this time gaining new experiences, meeting inspiring people, and helping projects that make a positive difference.

I have always loved animals and nature since I was a small child. For two summers I volunteered at a local wildlife rescue center, where I helped with feeding, cleaning, and releasing rescued animals back into the wild. I also regularly walked a dog for an elderly lady in my hometown. These experiences made me realize how much I enjoy working with animals and being outdoors.

I’m a reliable, hardworking, and introverted person. I learn quickly and I’m happy to help where it’s needed. I’m comfortable with gardening, outdoor work and general maintenance.

In my free time I like sports (running, gym), reading, and I’m interested in self-development. I meditate every morning. Traveling is also important to me as a way to grow, discover new perspectives, and connect with people.

I speak English (B2–C1 level) and Czech as my native language. I also tried learning Spanish on Duolingo, but I only remember a little – I’d be happy to practice and improve while volunteering.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve gained most of my practical experience by helping my dad and grandma with their gardens. I’m comfortable with tasks like mowing the lawn, planting, weeding, harvesting fruit and vegetables, and doing simple woodwork or garden maintenance. I also enjoy physical work outside and I’m happy to learn new skills when someone shows me how.

I’ve looked after animals since I was young – we had rabbits and chickens at grandma, and I also helped walking a dog for an elderly lady in my town. I don’t mind cleaning, feeding, or taking care of animals at all; in fact, I really enjoy it.

I have a driving license, good physical condition from sports, and I’m a quick learner when it comes to practical tasks
