HI! I'm Federica and I'm Italian/Canadian.
I am a horsewoman, cyclist, and outdoor lover. Ex dog mom :'( waiting for the next fluffy love to fill my heart again

I was updating my profile when something went wrong and instead of upgrading everything has been deleted xD

Well anyway I want to learn more horsemanship, groundwork, ride endurance, dressage.
I worked for horse packing, trailclearing, horse guide , overnighters, bit of teaxhing.
Have wilderness first aid cert from Yukon, Canada.

I am a scuba dive guide and would love to help at a.acuba diving center to get experience and more dives. looking forward becoming an istructor but enjoying the path meanwhile.

I am a big time cycle tourer, totally in love with Cappadocia, Turkey.
Looking forward to adopt a dog again soon, meanwhile I can take planes easily again.

Love the outdoors, done many types of work like Language Teaching, different types of guiding, woodworking, hospitality, Project manager, etc.

I love team work , love life and the world, and get to know new cultures and lifestyles. Pretty oriented for the simple pleasures in life.

I like team work, I speak many languages.
I love construction, I have experience with renovation work and a bit with wood! I really want to learn more, learn how to build an electric circuit and proper piping.
I have used atvs, like quads with trailers and mini tractors with loading arms, chainsaws and general tools. I can do some tiling ....I can repair things learning from youtube (hey! not always!).. I can be lots of help!
I have worked in restaurants, hostels, agriculture and teaching, and RANCHING!.
I cook very good Italian food, vegetarian, vegan (try my chickpea tofu!) and love to try new cuisine.
I know some basic yoga and like to improve it all the time!
I have worked in agriculture, fruit harvesting, and pruning olive trees and vineyards.
Also beekeeping in Russia through Wwoof organization.
I've been teaching English on and off in in Korea, Vietnam and Italy. I can teach Italian or English.
I have been a seasonal bike&wine tour guide for the summer in Tuscany, Italy,

and a Canoe multiweek expedition guide in the Yukon (Canada) - definitely this last has been a life highlight!!!!

I have been a Horse guide for this past year in Turkey, Kapadokya, leading small 1-4 hour tours, and helping on week long horse camping trips.

I like to learn and I learn fast!
I'm positive, happy and open minded !
I probably forgot some things I might be able to do, so just ask if you haven't found a skill you are looking for!

I'm happy to work in hostels too because I love people and travellers that explore life.
I can help out in eco-projects though I've never designed an eco-project before, so I'm more than happy to help but don't expect me being an expert! I simply love nature and travelling!

This was definitely one of my best workaway. I thought of staying a couple of weeks but stayed a month and a half instead. Dona is an incredible kind hearted person. She values real connection and you can see how much she cares for the individual. The location of the campsite is absolutely stunning. A beautiful valley with views on the mountains and the Vjosa river. I was there in August and September. The river Vjosa is of a spectacular color and of course I enjoyed multiple rafting tours on it. The beach is on the other side of the street so it takes 5 seconds to enjoy these beautiful waters. There are plenty of hikes, the ottoman baths, the cute town and delicious Baklava... the winery! I feel any desire I was talking about became real. If you help, you feel that you will get that exchange back ..it all happens so naturally ahahah! You can make friends with the people that come to the campsite, it is generally a very nice crowd, youngs, olds, family, there is for every type. There is no transport but you can easily hitchhike everywhere, which I also find a colorful way to meet people or team up with fellow campers. I also had the luck to work with other workawayers. Including returning ones! It was little the time that I was alone. I am cycling the Silk Road and this is one of the most beautiful places I have been. If you are an avid kayaker and have your gear, of course going down the river is a beautiful must (not for beginners!!! Don't even ask Dona or you will give her a heart attack!). There are times when the campsite gets really crowded and you can help all day long (I decided to help anytime it felt it was needed because I was enjoying my stay a lot and it felt the best way to connect to this life) and times when it is not busy at all so it's the best time to go for adventures. I got to meet their family and nieces, the two most wonderful cute little girls that filled me with hugs and love. I feel I will never be able to say thanks enough with this review, but I got a true exchange of what workaway is for me. Cultural and friendship on top of the usual work exchange. Connecting with people for real. It was hard deciding to continue my cycling trip instead of just staying here for several months.. Ciao Dona and Robert!
