Hi! My name is Fatima. I am a student living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. My first workaway journey started in 2018, after I finished high school, and I have been travelling with workaway regularly ever since. I love to travel slow, connect to people wherever I visit, and truly experience all the different cultures and places this world has to offer. Living in a city, my main travel priority is usually to spend some time in nature, reconnecting to the earth, and, of course, contribute a little bit to some of the wonderful projects that are going on...

To mention some more specific workaway-related interests: I am interested in communal living, self-sufficiency and permaculture, as well as wild edible plants and medicinal plants and herbs. These are mainly things I don't know much about yet and would like to learn, though I spent some time in (aspiring self-sufficient) communities and practiced permaculture through workaway.

I am currently studying Logic and studied Mathematics before. In my free time, I draw, dance, and practice yoga.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

What I love most is to help outdoors, in the garden, with animals, or lending a helping hand in construction work. Through workaway I gained some experience in permaculture gardening, and I would love to learn more.

I have a passion for art and creation. I have done two murals (wall paintings) in the past, for a hostel and for an organic farm. If there is any decoration or otherwise art, painting, or lettering related task to be done, I would absolutely love to help.

I love animals and can generally take care of them well. I have done horse riding (natural horsemanship) in the past and this is something I would like to pick up again one day.
I am always willing to help people learn Dutch or English - Dutch is my native language and my English is quite fluent.
