Hello! My name is Helena and I am from a village in the Czech Republic ( my family has a homestead ) and I love meeting new people, learning new skills, discovering other cultures and evolving this way.
My personality type is ENFP. - I am extroverted, enthusiastic, flexible, open-minded, intuitive and creative.
I've been active in ESN for two years and my position there is inclusion manager at the moment 😆


I have master's in special education and also a bachelor's degree in preschool education.
I have creative, artistic and didactic skills, I love dancing and movement in general, I can play the piano and plan activities / intervention according to children’s needs for their best development..
I also focus on equal opportunities for all minorities.


My first experience similar to workaway was WWOOFing in Japan in July 2018
In the past years, I was involved in different kinds of volunteering in Czechia.
For instance : in a retirement house, tutoring children, helping on a Children's Day, I also had the opportunity to volunteer in a psychiatric hospital....

I support the Czech ecological movement Brontosaurus and was a part of some of their projects. ( castle reconstructions, helping in an animal rescue station..)

Even though I am not perfect I try to live as ecologically as I can, making my own cosmetic producs, growing fruits and vegetables in our garden.. I have a holistic approach to life and health is a huge value to me.

I think that I have a rather good linguistic Intelligence - according to the Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. I passed the CAE exam last year so I find myself capable of teaching English, especially to children as I am a student of preschool education. However, I know I am still on the path of learning myself.
