Description

Hi! My name is Emma.

This is my first time taking part in Workaway! I'm studying computer engineering, but I want to work on protecting the environment when I graduate. I'm doing a gap year before my final year because I want to travel and meet people who live and work in a way that respects the planet. I think it would be good for me to travel on my own for a year, and I hope to learn a lot!

In my spare time, I like to work with my hands: sewing, cooking, gardening... I also enjoy reading and listening to music. I enjoy swimming, yoga, and playing badminton. I'm currently in Italy on an internship (on animal conservation) with some friends, and it's already been a wonderful experience.

I'm a bit shy, but that doesn't last long as I love talking to people! I'm a pretty quiet and tidy person, but I'm always doing something. I really enjoy helping out, so travelling via Workaway will probably suit me perfectly! I look forward to meeting you :)

I can help with French. I trying to learn German and I started learning Norvegian a looong time ago, I don't remember a lot of it but I would love to start again ! I trying to improve my English as well (especially I have some progress to make with my speaking).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I like cooking and baking. I also like gardening, my grandfather taught me a few things (how to cut a rosebush, how to plant flowers...).
I do a lot of creative things and I've assembled and repaired lots of small pieces of furniture at home, so I can help with that sort of thing.

I'm studying IT, so I can help with that too, and I've studied maths and physics and done some tutoring, so maybe that can help someone who needs it for their studies).

What's more, I'm organised. And French is my mother tongue, so I can help if someone want to learn it.
