Hej :)

My name is Emely, I`m from Germany and I`m ready for a big adventure. I just finished school and after all that sitting in class and studying from books, I want to experience something completely different. I also want to use that time to fully enjoy nature and not being consumed by the ongoing digitalization.

I`m planning to spend nearly a year in Sweden. Why Sweden? Because I love the nature and culture of Sweden, and it has always been a dream of mine to go to Sweden and explore the main cities, but also the calm places outside huge towns. Right now I`m also trying to learn Swedish, and it would be great if i could improve my language skills during the time in Sweden.

I would describe myself as a responsible, lovely, creative and easy-going person who is open to learning new things and meeting new people. I`m more of an introvert, so spending time away from a huge civillization is no problem for me. On the other hand, I`m really open-minded about new situations and I can adapt quickly. I did an internship at a kindergarten where I was responsible for children aged 1-3 and 4-6, so I`m good with children. In my free time, I love to crochet, read, draw and spend time with my friend`s dog. I also grew up with a dog, a sweet golden retriever, and he was by my side for over 15 years.

My love to dogs is really huge, but also other animals have my heart. Thats the reason why I stopped eating meat and became a vegetarian. Furthermore, my diet is often completely vegan. I`m aware that finding a vegan host isn`t always easy, so for my trip, I don`t have a problem with `just´ a vegetarian diet. I personally think that we owe it to the animals and nature to let them live in peace and be aware of their needs.

It`s my first time going on such a huge adventure on my own, and I´m looking forward to having a great time with the hosts and the whole country of Sweden, and experiencing moments that I will always remember :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have mentioned a few things in my upper text like that I´m good with kids so I can take care of them or play with them. I have a lot of experience in taking care of or living with a dog, but also other animals. Tasks around the houshold or garden, like cleaning, cooking, gardening,... are also something I`m good at and kinda enjoy.
