Hei! I'm Eivor, 20 years old and from southern Germany. I look forward to learning more about homesteading, farming and animal caretaking!
I speak German, Hungarian and English fluently, I'm learning Norwegian and Icelandic at University.
I'm currently doing an exchange year at NTNU university in Trondheim and looking to get out of the city on the weekends to help in farmsteads and spend more time outside. Because of my degree, I love reading and writing literature, as well as learning new languages.
Apart from that, I draw and paint, crochet and knit, and do ballet and also archery sporadically.
My calling is outside in nature, I can spend the entire day walking and exploring, also observing wildlife :)
My great passion lies with animals - I have mostly worked with dogs so far (sled-dogs, herding dogs), but also have a bit of experience with chickens, sheep, cats, pigs, cows and horses.
Sometimes I feel like I understand animals better than some humans, which is why I love working with them ;)
Other than that, I'm fine with housework, and gardening too and gladly help here and there with building or fixing something!
While I am a rather quiet person, I am an even better listener. Working in a group is no problem, I find peace while spending time in nature or with the animals :)Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a patient and precise work style, which is best fitted while working with animals, as I believe.
Taking care of them daily, feeding routine, cleaning bowls, tidying up their homes and exercising them is something I have had quite a bit of experience with so far.
I've done work around the house like painting jobs, cleaning windows, gardening, helping with repairs, etc.
I don't mind 'bad' weather, nor working or staying alone for longer periods of time.
I'm always open to learning something new!Âge

Autres infos...
Because of my degree, I read sagas almost on a daily basis and learn old Norse, not something many people do :)
My favourite animals to observe are by far birds of all kinds.Informations complémentaires

The moment I arrived I felt at home and I got integrated into their daily routine right away, so I never felt left out or out of place. There was always some kind of work to be done, but they made sure to never overwork… read more
