Hi ! You can call me Ellie.
My ideals and interests lie at the crossroad of community, environmentalism, and never-ending learning.
I'm a Master of Arts student working on a thesis that I cherish with my whole heart: I study the education to the environment and Indigenous American knowledge through PBS documentary programs.

The business of my life is education, my solace is novels and music. I've just starting teaching myself basic botany and Zen Soto Buddhism.

I tend to be the mediator in social situations, so I'm a good ear to listen and I am a calm communicator. I'm equally passionate and can be talkative when it comes to my special interests. I'm curious, open-minded, and happy to assist with projects.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have lots of costumer service experience. I worked in a medieval castle in the busy summer, at the front desk of a public university library for 2 years, in retail and assisting archivists and library workers behind the scenes. I also have experience in administrative tasks. I can help with managing social media or a website for an association.

I am somewhat used to manual labor, and I tend to challenge myself when it's in a safe environment. I have helped build a small wooden cabin, planted trees, replenished gravel, piled up dead branches... I enjoy gardening and picking food. I have experience in animal (cats, sheep, goats, chicken).

I also have some experience in elderly care.

Anything I don't have knowledge in, I'd gladly learn it. I'm highly motivated in contributing to society by helping others, and cultivating an open-minded and strong spirit.
