Hi, I'm Edwin!
I come from the glorious, cold & friendly land of Canada 🇨🇦❤️
After spending a year living in China, fulfilling a long-time dream of learning to speak Mandarin Chinese, I'm now in Europe until October 2024!
I'm looking to help on unique hands-on projects with others, which is why I'm here on Workaway.
I am outgoing, active & people-oriented. I love to work on projects of all sorts with others.
I've renovated an entire house, run a software company, organized & hosted a mental health fundraiser and more, so I've got quite a bit of experience in all sorts of projects.
So, please put me to work on something cool, and let's make some memories! 😁

I've had the fortune to work on projects of all sorts!
I bought and renovated a smoker's home in Canada - a six month project. I've run my own software company, building & selling smartwatch software. I've run an in-person mental health awareness fundraiser. I've traveled to over a dozen countries and have learned to speak Mandarin Chinese.
Through all of this, I've learned how to work with people. Having the chance to work in so many different domains with people from many different backgrounds has helped me build some solid people skills that I'm continuing to work on to this day.
In short: I've gotten quite a bit better at being human, adapting & learning from what I do :)

- switching careers to become a psychotherapist. I start college in January 2025!
- grandfather is Romanian, I am hoping to become an EU citizen by descent in 2026!
- I grew up rocking out to pop-punk music, and grew to love almost every genre. When I'm not hanging out with others, you can guarantee I'm listening to music 🎶
