Hola!

I'm Domien, a wandering nature lover and agro ecology enthusiast in his early thirties.
I grew up in Belgium, but for the last ten years I've been spending a fair amount of my time abroad as well, both inside and outside of Europe. Life's a journey :)
A journey during which I've been fortunate to meet amazing people, explore beautiful places and to get to know different cultures!

I've been working and volunteering at various organic farming related projects, as a landscaper, in nature conservation, as a social worker, at vineyards and so on. All of these have been very instructive experiences where I learned more about agro ecology and a more sustainable lifestyle in general, things that I'm very passionate about! Ah yes, I've also followed a Pdc course two years ago :)

When in Belgium, I'm taking care of a small agricultural plot which I've been converting into a perennial edible garden, mini food forest kind of thing. It's lovely to see this little experiment develop slowly but steadily!

I like to spend my free time outside exploring and foraging, spending time with friends and family, reading, cycling, gardening, hiking, maybe enjoy a little concert or party here and there, relaxing, cooking a nice meal, ... nothing too complicated :)

I don't consider myself as a pro or very very skilled at anything, but I know a thing or two about gardening, farming and agroforestry, I'm very eager to learn and I'd love to help you out! It would also be great to learn more about (natural) building, water management (keyline design, swales, ...) and animal care. Basically I'd love to keep on learning new things forever, as there are just so many interesting skills in this world.
