Hi!

My name is Daniel. I'm currently on a gap year between high school and university, and am trying to learn as much about other cultures and ways of living as possible. I am motivated most by making the world a better place, by reading, and by having strong relationships with my friends and family.

I love reading fiction (mainly fantasy and some sci-fi), board and card games, and TTRPGs - if you like any of these then we'll have a lot to talk about!

I also enjoy water sports such as swimming, water skiing, and wing foiling, and just generally being outside.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a healthy, fit, and motivated student, currently on a gap year between high school and university. I am eager to learn and pick things up quickly, and work diligently when given a task.

In high school (from which I just graduated) I co-founded a group to destigmatize opioid use and houselessness, which are two major issues in Canada. I did a lot of hands-on work, such as interviewing people on the streets and volunteering at soup kitchens, shelters, etc., as well as computer tasks - I was in charge of administration. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and I hope to do more service in the coming year.

In the summers I run my window cleaning business. It's a small affair, but it's gotten me used to working in the heat - it's not uncommon for me to work 8 hour days in 30+ degree weather. I've also become very comfortable talking to strangers and chasing leads, doing advertising, self promotions, etc.

My high school was very academically rigorous and English is my forte, so I am quite capable of writing effectively - if you need someone to improve the English version of your website, reach out to English travel agencies, etc., then I'm your guy.
