Hello there :-) My name is Charlotte, and I'm thrilled to be joining this vibrant community of workaway travelers. Embarking on my very first journey across Europe, I am filled with a hunger for new experiences and an eagerness to immerse myself in different cultures, and lending a helping hand wherever I go.

As a first-time traveler, I am excited to embrace the unknown with open arms. The prospect of exploring unfamiliar territories, meeting new people, and learning about different ways of living excites me beyond measure. This journey represents a significant milestone in my life, as I have recently left my job to dedicate myself wholeheartedly to this adventure. It is a big dream come true for me, and I feel very privileged and thankful to finally being able to do it!

I possess a curiosity about the world and its people. I'm intrigued by different behavioral patterns, psychology, and the beauty of nature. Learning about new cultures, traditions, and ways of life is a very rewarding and stimulating experience for me.

With my service-minded and helpful nature, I genuinely enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of others. Whether it's offering assistance, sharing knowledge, or contributing to meaningful projects, I'm eager to lend a hand in any way I can. I believe in the power of collaboration and the exchange of ideas, which is why I'm excited to connect with hosts and fellow travelers.

With a background as a director's assistant, I have skills in organizing, attention to detail, human relations and confidentiality. These skills, coupled with my enthusiastic and adaptable nature, allow me to approach workaway projects with dedication and a willingness to contribute effectively.

As a 32 year old woman, born and raised in Denmark, I am eager to step out of my comfort zone and expand my horizons. Fluent in both English and Danish, and semi-fluent in Swedish and Norwegian, I am able to communicate with hosts and fellow travelers from various backgrounds, hopefully fostering meaningful connections and building friendships along the way. Furthermore I am very interested in learning new languages, as I have what we in danish call "an ear for language" ;-)

With my Danish upbringing, I embrace values such as equality, respect, and a strong work ethic. When I'm not busy assisting executives, you can find me indulging in outdoor activities that allow me to appreciate the beauty of nature. Hiking, running, and playing handball have been long-standing passions of mine. Although I am new to the travel scene, I bring with me a deep appreciation for an active and balanced lifestyle. Engaging in physical activities allows me to recharge mentally, and is a great value for me in my day to day life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm hard working, adaptable and social. I am very independent, and can manage my own free time.

Here are some examples of things I can help you with:
Gardening, cooking, cleaning, general maintenance around the house, language exchange, childcare, painting, organising, taking care of animals.

I have experience in childcare. I have worked in a kindergarten and in a primary school. I also have 3 younger siblings, so the big sister role is natural for me.

Back home I have a 13 year old dog. We've had dogs, cats and horses in my family ever since I was little. I have big love for animals and will gladly take care of yours!

I speak Danish and English fluent and would love to language exchange!
