Hey
I'm Qian, a 27-year-old female from China. I speak Mandarin and English (IELTS 7.5).
I have been traveling and volunteering for two years:)
What I have done and am interested in:
*farm and construction: don't mind getting hands dirty; can do labor; living in remote mountain villages and hiking
*hospitality: reception, waitress, housekeeping
*language training: teaching English, preparing students for IELTS tests

Learning different cultures is fascinating to me. I majored in sociology and anthropology. I'm quite adaptable and go with the flow.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
*Hospitality. I worked at a hostel in Bangkok for one month as receptionist and waitress. Paid work at an ecotourism hotel in Albania for six months( until the season ended). I serve meals, make coffee, check in guests,clean bathrooms, help prepare dinner and take care of everything around the hotel.
*Teaching English. My IELTS academic score is 7.5 .
*Babysitting. I have experience in a day care center and many families overseas.I get on well with kids and I’m the favorite of my nieces.
*I'm willing to do construction projects and farmwork. I can do labor and get works done with instructions. If there is tedious and repetitive work which nobody likes, let me get it done while listening to podcasts :)

In my free time I enjoy reading and the tranquility. I travel with a Kindle and we are inseprable. I try to read novels from every region. Hope to exchange book lists with other bookpackers.
I usually stay in every country as long as I can (visa permit). I'm a slow traveller and try to live local life without judgement.

It's unique experience to work at this big farm owned by a South African couple in Georgia with other volunteers (sounds as international and mixed as it is). I stayed here for two weeks and find Ipoh quite a chill town. It’s surrounded by beautiful hills and the city center has many nice old buildings.
