Hey
I'm Qian, a 26-year-old female from China. I speak Mandarin and English (IELTS 7.5).
I have been traveling and volunteering for more than one year :)
What I have done and am interested in:
*hospitality: reception, waitress, housekeeping
*language training: teaching English, preparing students for IELTS tests
*homestay: babysitting, living family life, socializing, promoting for tourism, community
*farm and construction: don't mind getting hands dirty; can do labor; living in the nature and hiking
Learning different cultures and getting in touch with people are fascinating to me. I study sociology and anthropology in university and enjoy getting immersed in local cultures. I'm quite adaptable and go with the flow.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
*Hospitality. I worked at a hostel in Bangkok for one month as receptionist and waitress. Paid work at an ecotourism hotel in Albania for three months( until the season ends). I serve meals, make coffee, check in guests,clean bathrooms, chop vegetables for dinner and take care of everything around the hotel.
*Teaching English. My IELTS score is 7.5 and I enjoy communicating with others.
*Babysitting. I have experience in a day care center and several families overseas.I get on well with kids and I’m the favorite of my nieces. I really like playing with them and taking care of them.
*I'm willing to do construction projects and farmwork. I can do labor and get works done with instructions. If there is tedious and repetitive work which nobody likes, let me get it done while listening to podcasts :)

It's unique experience to work at this big farm owned by a South African couple in Georgia with other volunteers (sounds as international and mixed as it is). This is my luck meeting this family in Bursa. They are close and sweet. Ezig is a charming lady and her husband Emrah is also involved in housework and child care. I stayed here for two weeks and find Ipoh quite a chill town. It’s surrounded by beautiful hills and the city center has many nice old buildings. Mr Edy is an experienced host and he has over 30 good reviews on another website. He knows how to make schedules and entertain volunteers to avoid them being bored. He speaks amazing English and is really a gentleman. Students here are quite lively and energetic.
