Description

Kia ora! We're travelling together in New Zealand on a working holiday from Britain. After spending time living and working in Auckland, we're looking for exciting, rewarding, nature-based projects to get stuck in with on the beautiful South Island.

Spending time living and working with local people is our favourite way to travel. We both love the outdoors - climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering - cooking nice food to share with others, and chilled evenings exploring the local area.

We're clean, respectful and responsible, ready to help out with any work you need. We're both physically fit and hard working, and able to help with manual projects.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We each have a diverse range of skills,and are fast, adaptable learners.

Harry has spent years working in fast-paced kitchens. He is comfortable with hard, physical work, thinking and acting quickly, and can make fantastic homemade pizzas (and other tasty meals!).

Chloe has experience working for England's Environment Agency in flood protection, working with local people to protect their communities using environmental solutions.

We were both heavily involved in leading Leeds University Union's Hiking Club for three years. From our experience running the club, we're able to plan, organise, use our initiative and be responsible for our work.

In addition, we're both comfortable living and working with families/children. Chloe has spent many years as a leader in Guiding/Scouting - developing outdoor skills and running camps and activities for young people. Harry is a trained English tutor, and has worked in schools on sports and other extra-curricular activities.

We're laid back in our free time. As well as outdoor/regular sports, we like reading, music, cooking and board games!
