Hi everyone! ;-)

My name is Chiara, I am 30 and I'm from Italy.

I consider myself a positive and sunny person, with a predisposition for interpersonal relationships.
I love sharing thoughts and experiences with people. Communicating with people from all over the world makes me happy.
I am a very curious person and I would like to learn new things, have new interests and give myself the opportunity to change my life a little.
My greatest passion is planning trips and travelling throughout the world.
In the last 3 years I have traveled a lot in Europe and I have discovered that it is possible to travel on a budget. The most important journey of my life was during 2023 : the St. James Way/ Camino de Santiago.

VERY IMPORTANT:
I've been in Australia, specifically in Melbourne, since 20 March 2025.
I have a working holiday visa (class 417) and will definitely look to work while I'm there. I am also very interested in one or more Workaway experiences. Write to me if you want to ask me availability or ask questions!

With workaway I can be interested in a lot of subjects:
- working with people and social projects
- working for an NGO (in the social field)
- working in the field of sport and well-being
- working with animals and pets : I love dogs and cats!!
- working in a hostel, B&B
- I love the mountains and walking!
- I love cooking
- Cleaning in general ( home and outside)
- I can teach the Italian language (I'm not a teacher but I am native Italian speaker)
- I need and want to improve my English (I love it!)
- I speak intermediate level English (level B2)
- I would like to learn other languages ​​too.

About me:
I would like to live my Workaway experience as an opportunity to discover myself and my qualities... and if possible to improve...

I really love spending time with other people but for my personal goals I also need to have some time for myself.

I prefer to have positive people around me, I don't like people who are always negative and stressed.
I really appreciate kindness, respect and empathy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During my life I tried many jobs in different fields: from the waitress, dishwasher, pizza maker assistant, delivery girl to educator assistant with elderly people, teacher, social worker and cashier inside a supermarket.
Every job was a very important experience for me.

After the high school I studied Social Work at the university and I got my degree.
I realized that I prefer being with people and I don't really like sitting down all day.
Therefore now I'm ready to change something.

I am able to do cleaning works and take care of an house.

I love cooking! My family influenced me to eat well and cook food at home. Furthermore I know how to prepare some desserts.

My lifestyle is very simple, I prefer to buy less things and spend my money on experiences.

I love being surrounded by nature, animals and people and I'd like to do and to learn something in these three fields.
I am able to listen to people and reflect with them. I don't stop at words.

I really like the tourism sector (especially the slow tourism on foot and by bike) and planning detailed trips. This year I have walked for a month on foot.

I often go walking in the countryside or in the mountains but I need to overcome the fear of high sea water. However I'd like to improve snorkeling, I hope to get this opportunity!
