Description
Kia ora! I’m a 24-year-old New Zealander looking to make meaningful connections and contributions in overseas communities. I have a passion for the outdoors and definitely don’t mind getting my hands dirty! In New Zealand, I work in a clinical research laboratory. I have a strong scientific background as well as practical experience in forestry and farmwork. My hobbies include hiking, running and reading. I love any excuse to get outdoors and explore.
I am spending 3 months travelling before starting medical school in February 2026. I am going to Tanzania first to tick off some insane outdoor experiences such as climbing Kilimanjaro and going on safari while also contributing to a workaway exchange. My next stop is visiting family in Switzerland for Christmas and New Year's. I then plan to head to Thailand and Vietnam for some warmer weather and rich culture. I look forward to meeting lots of wonderful hosts and travellers on my journey!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have experience in biomedical science, chemistry and biology at a high level (university honours). I also hold a certificate in the use of a chainsaw. My personal skills include great communication, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to try new things. I have volunteered for organisations in New Zealand that support people recovering from traumatic brain injuries as well as community projects that support people living with dementia.
