Hello and welcome to our profile!:)

Our names are Ariana and Esmé and we are two friends from Austria, who met in an art school, focused on handwork- ranging from weaving to woodwork and much more. We just graduated and decided to travel through central America together.

As friends who have experienced different types of social situations and circumstances together, we have found that we both have a deep interest and find joy in learning about other peoples mindsets, beliefs and culture. We would describe ourselves as curious, spontaneous, open-minded and empathetic individuals, who are craving to know more about the world.

Our artistry is characterised in different ways- I (Esmé) love to make music- by singing,playing the piano, ukulele and more and always enjoy expanding my musical knowledge through others or sharing songs. I love to paint and build, take videos or pictures; I connect through creativity.:)
Ariana has a good eye for interior design, proportions, loves listening to music and can braid hair beautifully.

We also love animals and nature, going for walks and breathing in good air...

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Through art school, we have learned to work with different materials- from wood to metal, ceramics, fabric and thread. Because of past projects, we've developed a good feeling for problem solving and an excitement for different tasks that can be challenging or in need of a flexible mindset. We are not afraid to delve into projects and get into the nitty gritty;)
We are hard-working and take our tasks seriously.

Esmé: I have a three year old sister and she is already one of the coolest people I know- I find the minds of kids inspiring and enjoy spending time with and taking care of children of all ages.
Along with childcare, I have experience taking care of cats and dogs- last summer I spent time in Spain, house-sitting and caring for a diabetic and asthmatic cat, who needed to be given his inhaler every evening.
I am also a thorough cleaner, a hobby baker and enjoy cooking meals for family and friends. I have been vegetarian my whole life, so I have a good feeling about how to get the most out of veggies :)
I have moved a lot my whole life and was part of many renovations (mainly painting, fixing holes in walls, sanding and staining floors, tiling bathrooms) , 'furniture-building all nighters', packing and transportation- since this was a regular part of my life, I have found joy in these often strenuous labours; getting into a flow and finding better techniques with each new try.

I, Ariana, grew up with a father who taught me to be very crafty and have a DIY-Mindset when it comes to jobs in the haushold like plastering, painting, sanding parquett, drilling and much more.
Within my familiy i also havea big sister and a cousin, whose kids, aged 0-10, i have helped taking care of several times. Rarely also for acquaintances outside of the family.
When it comes to cooking, i love to be creative with seasoning and use special spices, some of them from my arabic backyground.
I really enjoy to restore clothes and fabrics through sewing by hand or the machine - thanks to my school, it has become rather professional.
Another big aspect of my life have always been animals. My mother used to own horses, turtles, rabbits, mice who i grew up with and learned to take care of. I used to always accompany her to the stable. Now it has come down to two adult dogs, which i really love. Besides that, i have regularly watched after my cousins cat.
