Description

Hey, I am Caspar and 21 years old.

A strong desire to travel and explore the world has always been central to my personality, thanks to my parents who introduced me to the joys of travel from a young age. Meeting and exchanging stories with new people from diverse backgrounds is an inspiring and enriching experience for me. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity and great privilege to have already visited a variety of countries and experienced different cultures. Multicultural exchange is a joy!
In addition to my love for travel, I would describe myself as a creative and practical person. Growing up on what was once a farm with a large garden, gardening and farming is nothing unfamiliar to me. My father, someone who repaired and built as much as possible by himself, taught me basic carpentry skills. This upbringing has equipped me with a hands-on approach to tasks and an appreciation for nature and craftsmanship. I am currently at the beginning of my Architecture degree which has become a fulfilling passion.
I'm excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to new projects and adventures through Workaway, and I look forward to learning from and contributing to places I can be a part of. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with gardening, basic woodworking, basic maintenance jobs, housekeeping, and possess some cooking skills.
Through my six month voluntary service in Jordan (with a local NGO) I gained experience in the field of community work.
While leading a student's council, I learned to organize, coordinate and take responsibility. Besides, I taught me how to communicate in a team of people.
I know photography and own a camera. Wind surfing and sailing are two of my hobbies.
In general, I am a passionate and quick learner who is flexible and can adapt.
I speak German (mother tongue), fluently English and some basic French.
