Description

We are a multi-cultural couple (Dutch and Portuguese) that has grown up moving around and have nurtured an itch for travelling the world. We have just completed a house renovation in Leeds, England, and are looking for a new adventure. We love meeting new people and having deep conversations about philosophy, relationships and life. We also LOVE hearing and telling jokes!
Whenever we travel, we love going on hikes and immersing ourselves in nature. FOOD is always a big part of our lives and brings us much happiness. It’s the simple things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have both paused our corporate careers (Joe as an analyst and Beki as a researcher) so we are skilled in admin, computer related tasks, and professional environments.

We have also both worked in several retail and service industry roles.

We are both very handy. We have just finished renovating our own house - doing all of the work ourselves which has equipped us with more skills than we ever expected! These include plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating, basics electrics, woodwork and heavy manual labour.

We are also both super outdoorsy and enjoy working with animals. Beki grew up on a farm and plant nurseries so knows her way around those jobs too.

We speak 5 languages between us (to varying levels!) and are willing to pick up new languages to help in our day to day and see this as a great way to experience new cultures.

Beki loves to cook and Joe loves to drive. We also both come from big families so are great with kids too - it takes village!

Other hobbies include pottery, keeping fit, football and climbing.
