***looking for house/animal sitting for November and December ***
We're travelling with our new 5 month old, 3kg Puppy

Hi, we are a fun fit couple from Canada, Derek and Bobbi, pleased to meet you!
Scuba diving, motorcycles, paragliding, water activities, animals, hikes, food & wine, are all some of our passions in life. We are suited for any type of work or house sitting, we love dogs and all animals.

We have been Workaway hosts in the past and really enjoyed the experience and with our great work ethic, sense of humour and love for life we have a lot to offer as workawayers.

Now it's our turn to travel and explore the world, meet new people and share our life skills with people who need help.

Derek's skills are: Forestry, Chainsaws, swimming pool/hot tub maintenance, boats, repair and maintenance, Drone photography, lawn and garden care, window/ gutter cleaning, mechanical repairs, cooking, advanced scuba diver, advanced paraglider, equipment operator, Dog lover, speaks a bit of basic Spanish and basic terrible French.

Bobbi's skills are: Gardening guru, animals, housekeeping, book keeping, pool and hot tub maintenance, cooking, wine tasting, advanced scuba diver, motorcycle driver, Dog lover, speaks a bit of Spanish and French
Not afraid of hard work, we can learn any new skills needed as well. We are honest trustworthy people that treat others with respect.

Bobbi and Derek stayed with us for a couple of months during the fall of 2022. They are extremely efficient and hard working and get things done in absolute no time and then move on to the next project. Boy, did we luck out when Bobbi and Derek showed up!

The dogs just loved both of them to pieces... they got so much love and attention and walks!

The Main Kitchen, the floors and even the dark corners could not hide from Bobbi's willingness to keep sending the dust packing.

We really enjoyed our time at this guest house. Lucas, Terry and Ulla are just wonderful honest down to earth people. The work wasn't really work at all, walking dogs, sweeping, mopping, watering plants, etc.

The town of la Cruz is a fantastic little place full of friendly people.

Staying with Michael in his lovely home was our second workaway experience and we were not disappointed. Michael and George greeted us and made us feel at home. We, my wife and I, spent a week helping Rosemary and Dave do some maintenance around their home. Unfortunately due to some issues we had to leave early.
