Hi! I am Axelle, 24 years old and living in Ghent, Belgium.
I love traveling and am always eager to explore new places and cultures. I have previously had wonderful experiences traveling in South America and doing workaways and I am now looking forward to new adventures in Europe, particularly in nature-rich environments.
As a person, I am inquisitive and enjoy discovering new things all the time. I have studied history and am very interested in getting to know different people, cultures, and traditions. I speak fluently Dutch, French, and English, and I am currently learning Spanish and German.
I recently started a job near Brussels and love traveling in my free time. I am passionate about nature, hiking, and sustainable living, and I enjoy participating in projects that allow me to learn more about these areas.
I am up for anything and ready to jump into any opportunity with a positive attitude.

I would love to be able to speak Spanish fluently. At the moment, I have already started to learn the language on my own, but I would really like to get extra help or lessons, or have people around me with whom I can practise the language. On the other hand, I would certainly be open to teaching other people another language.

LANGUAGES
Learning new languages is something I am found of. Currently I speak fluently Dutch, French and English. I can speak some German and for the moment I am starting to learn Spanish.
HISTORY, POLITICS & RESEARCH
This year, I have just completed my studies in history. History, politics and current affairs fascinate me.
SCOUTS & NATURE
After having been a member of the scouts for 10 years, I have been active as a leader for 3 years. First with small children and the last year with people with disabilities. Scouts taught me many skills, not only socially but also the love for being active and living in nature.
