G'day!
I am Andrew from Broome, Western Australia. I am a fairly seasoned traveller and in August 2023 left our lovey seaside town for (another) big overseas adventure.
I have studied two degrees - Commerce and Arts, I have both have many years professional / other employment experience, in between travel.
I am interested in all kinds of work and are always excited to learn new things.
I love travelling (well, most people do), and have been to many countries thoughout Europe, Asia, Aus/NZ, as well as Canada/USA.
I has some experience on a farm environment, having spent a time on a sheep/cattle/organic/produce farms in New Zealand Canada, Ireland and Indonesia. Plus other WorkAway experiences at hostels, au pairing, house sitting, and English teaching.
I am hard working , with good communication/customer service skills and love to have fun, meet new people and explore new places.

I enjoy playing boardgames such as Catan, Carcasonne, King of Tokyo and more! I ame also into playing all kinds of sports, reading, listening to music. All the fun things!
I like to try new things and learn new skills, which is obviously great when doing Workaways.

I spent a week and a bit with Mika and Mario and it was a lovely experience. They were very generous and also understanding as I had some issues with my hands just prior to joining them.

I stayed at Carola's lovely house for a week or so. It was a cool experience being able to live in a traditional house like that in the middle of the old town. I spent a month doing the courses, four groups, and it was a great experience. I was near Reading rather that Scotland, however it was a cool base. It was nice meeting all the different groups and we had lots of fun. The excursions were all to cool places. I stayed (with my girlfriend) at the hostel for 10 days and it was a nice time. We did the daily cleaning and room preparation, plus assisting with check ins when required. the place isn't too big so this work goes fairly quickly. We stayed with Natsir's family for 2.5 weeks in September 2023. It was a rewarding experience teaching the local kids english, as well as assisting Natsir with his beautiful garden. I stayed at Kate's for 11 nights and had a nice time. I was helping paint the hallway door frames as well as some de-weeding and rubbish removal from out front. Not bad work.

There was a lot of outdoor physical work and he took it up with no complaints except for the time I made him squash his size 11 feet in size 7 wellie boots! :) my mistake! I helped with the transition to Vinnie's new farm, so we were moving things, taking apart pens, preparing the area at the new farm, checking on the sheep, giving them their injections and feeding them. (Stay with a happy family and ...)
I only had a short stay with this lovely family but enjoyed my time there! Two energetic and fun boys to keep me busy in the afternoon/evening.
I would look after them, play soccer/lego, help with homework and also did just a little cleaning.
The house is very nice and bedroom comfortable.
I recommend coming here :)

I stayed here for six weeks (extended my stay by two weeks as I was having a lovely time!) and would recommend it for anyone travelling in Ireland.

We were most grateful for his help, a great job of cleaning all our house inside and outside, moving furniture and more.
