Hello! My name is Antonin — I’m a 23-year-old from France, passionate about travel, outdoor living, and hands-on work.

I recently graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction and completed a semester abroad at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. That international experience, along with previous trips, helped me grow both personally and professionally, and now I’m ready for another adventure — this time in the USA, where I hope to explore nature, contribute to meaningful projects, and meet great people.

🛠 What I can offer:

I’m highly skilled in DIY, renovation, and manual work. I’ve worked on several construction and renovation projects, including my family home and a Workaway in London. I’m confident using tools, following plans, and problem-solving on the spot.

With two years of professional experience in civil engineering and another year in architecture and space planning (Revit/BIM), I can help with both technical and creative projects.

I’m a fast learner, physically fit, and always motivated to get things done efficiently and with care.

🌱 About me:

I grew up in a small countryside village near Lyon with my family and a lot of animals — dogs, cats, chickens, goats, ducks… I love being outdoors and close to nature.

I’m passionate about sports and endurance: I’m a triathlete (swimming, cycling, running) and I recently completed a marathon. I also love badminton, table tennis, and hiking — basically anything that gets me moving and outside!

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, drawing, watching movies or series, and learning new skills, whether practical or creative.

🤝 What kind of Workaway experience I’m looking for:

I’d love to join a project with outdoor tasks, DIY, eco-construction, or help around a property, farm, or homestead.

I'm also happy to help with animals, gardening, or maintenance work — I adapt easily and bring a positive attitude.

I’m curious about American culture and would love to connect with locals, share stories, and maybe join in on sports or group activities.

I’m respectful, responsible, and reliable. I enjoy meaningful conversations and know when to be independent or when to collaborate. I might be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly and love to share laughs and good times with the people around me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a 1st year student in a technological university institute, so I have some skills in technological subjects, I can teach french ( I am not a teacher but I can teach the basics, some words...)

Else, I know how to do a lot of work, I have the basics in masonry, carpentry, painting and many things like that, because I am renovating a house with my father, and I work as an paintor in building during the holidays

I can do a lot of things around the house like washing the dishes, cleaning or mowing the lawn ... I started cooking this year so I can cook a few meals but I'm not very good yet.

I have a lot of pets and I really appreciate them so I can take carre of them.

I am also skillful and I learn fast so I can help in many areas, but I am not an expert, I would be happy to learn from you!

I have a car and will probably travel with it, so I could go on my own to explore the country, although I would be happy to go out with my host to see new places :)
