Hi y'all! My name is Anniek, I'm 25 years old and I am from The Netherlands.

I have just graduated my studies to become a geography teacher. It's amazing to be in a position where you can help the next generation learn about the world we live in. Geography is a subject I get super excited about. It's interesting that everything in geography can be explained. It simply isn't only what we see on the surface.

Even though I have felt very lucky to have been able to be in that position, I don't feel like settling down and having a 9-5 job just yet. You're probably not surprised to hear that I want to see more of the world and learn from people from different cultures. I'm seeking more freedom, and I know Workaway is the place for all of that.
Back in 2020 I escaped the hustle from my hometown, escaped to the countryside doing Workaway and staying with all different kind of families. Not only did I learn a lot of new skills, I also learned a lot about myself and what I love most in life: traveling and meeting new people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a qualified teacher and a qualified receptionist (in a hotel/hostel). My major was geography, but I'd also be able to teach English and Dutch. Besides teaching I also love cooking, animals, being active outside and art. I am also open to any other type of work as I like to learn and try out new things! I would say I pick up tasks quickly and I am a sociable and optimistic person.
