Our names are Anna and Vincent. Anna is Irish and 31 years young! Vincent is French and 32 years young. We are going to travel to Canada, Peru, Chile and Argentina from October 2023 and would love to do some volunteering! We are especially interested in volunteering in vegetable farming as we are going to rent land for a chemical-free vegetable farm in Ireland after our trip. We'd like to share and learn different horticultural techniques (living soil market gardening, bio intensive growing, permaculture, sustainable building).

We love the simple life, believing that less is more when it comes to material goods. We try to eat local, vegetarian and organic produce. We wish to learn about different cultures and the way people live by interacting with locals and avoiding the tourist routes as much as possible.

I (Anna) love music, food and learning about all types of people from different walks of life. I play the flute and sax and dabble in the art of jazz. I am interested in learning new languages and am learning Spanish. I am an English language teacher in Cork, Ireland.

Vincent is also learning Spanish and is interested in reading and writing. He plays the guitar. Vincent is a market gardener manager and grows chemical-free vegetables for people and restaurants around Cork. We both have a lot of farming experience, having lived and worked on farms in New Zealand, Australia, China, France and Ireland.

We also love hiking. We have done a lot of trekking and hope to hike in different places on our next trip to South America.

Nos llamamos Anna y Vincent. Anna es irlandesa y tiene 31 años. Vincent es francés y tiene 32 años. Vamos a viajar a Canadá, Perú, Chile y Argentina a partir de octubre de 2023 y ¡nos encantaría hacer algún voluntariado! Estamos especialmente interesados en el voluntariado en el cultivo de hortalizas, ya que vamos a alquilar tierras para una granja de hortalizas sin productos químicos en Irlanda después de nuestro viaje. Nos gustaría compartir y aprender diferentes técnicas hortícolas (huerta de tierra viva, cultivo biointensivo, permacultura, construcción sostenible).

Nos encanta la vida sencilla, creemos que menos es más cuando se trata de bienes materiales. Intentamos comer productos locales, vegetarianos y ecológicos. Queremos conocer otras culturas y la forma de vida de la gente, interactuando con los lugareños y evitando las rutas turísticas en la medida de lo posible.

A mí (Anna) me encanta la música, la comida y conocer a todo tipo de personas de distintas profesiones y condiciones sociales. Toco la flauta y el saxo, y me aficiono al jazz. Me interesa aprender nuevos idiomas y estoy aprendiendo español. Soy profesora de inglés en Cork, Irlanda.

Vincent también está aprendiendo español y se interesa por la musica, escritura y la lectura (escribió un libro de viaje sobre la Australia). Toca la guitarra. Vincent es horticultor y cultiva verduras sin productos químicos para la gente y los restaurantes de Cork. Los dos tenemos mucha experiencia en agricultura, ya que hemos vivido y trabajado en granjas de Nueva Zelanda, Australia, China, Francia e Irlanda.

También nos encanta el senderismo. Hemos hecho mucho senderismo y esperamos recorrer distintos lugares en nuestro próximo viaje a Canada y Sudamérica.

Anna is an English as a second language teacher in Cork, Ireland. Vincent is from France and has taught a bit a French. We are both fluent in English and French, and are learning Spanish.
