Description
I've been travelling by thumb, bike, hiking, and couchsurfing for years and I'm addicted to meeting the wonderful and unique people of this world. I'm bought such hope and joy by connecting with wonderful people. I've volunteered around the world before but not via this platform but I've decided to give it a go as the community seems lovely and I'd like to spend longer in each place so that I can attempt to learn languages and build stronger bonds.

I'm currently attempting to learn french and struggling quite a lot - I'd be happy to do a language exchange or to be thrown into the deep-end with fully french speaking environments to speed up my learning.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I've worked in more areas than I can count at this point! I am a long-distance cyclist and runner so very physically fit and have experience working outdoors as an archaeologist (academic and commercial), gardener, and in community gardens and eco-communities.
I'm also an artist, illustrator and graphic designer, a data scientist who can code in 3 languages (less well in two more), a forager/ethnobotanist, and have experience with admin and academic writing from working for charities and having two degrees. I've also worked as a chef, baker, barista, actress, yoga teacher, supervisor (children and adults), cleaner, guesthouse host, and probably more but I struggle to remember everything!
I regularly help friends and family with DIY and renovation and I'm also more than happy to try my hand at any new skills as I love learning!
