Description
Hi everyone, we are a couple who gave up their jobs and fIat in order to gain some new experiences via workaway. In the following a little self description of both of us :) :
Anna: I am Anna and I am a calm, balanced person, who often spreads exactly this to her fellow men. I am also very open minded and a good listener. I enjoy meeting new people with their life stories and their everyday life. I am experienced in cleaning, cooking, laundry and babysitting. During my studies in social work I was able to gain a lot of valuable experience through a six-month internship in a children's home for traumatized children and adolescents and also through a mini-job in a natural kindergarten over the last few years. Working with children and young people makes my heart soar. I also enjoy spending time in nature and in the garden. Through the cultivation of a garden with my boyfriend in recent years and my origin from a Demeter farm, I already have some experience, but am super curious to learn many new things about especially vegetable gardening, herbs, vegetable storage, etc.. Always there to listen, learn and give a hand.
Diarmaid: My name is Diarmaid, 33 years of age and I have a master's degree in Biology (Microbiology and Bioinformatics - unfortunately not the biggest expert when it comes to animals or plants :)). I am curious about many things but am mainly interested in gaining more experiences regarding self sufficiency, gardening and manual labour. I would also love to get insights into different forms of communities or any lifestyle that may be inspiring to me. I love nature and being outdoors. I like activities such as hiking, yoga, reading, woodcarving, cooking (or fermenting, especially Kombucha :)). I pretty much believe in „live and let live“ and love to learn from other people, in my opinion we can learn a lot by inspiring each other.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Anna: I am a biology lab assistant and have also worked in a lab for a few years. In addition, I have just currently completed a bachelor's degree in social work. My main focus was the area of "help for education". I like to help in the household, in the garden and also like to spend time with children.
Diarmaid: Anna & myself have our own garden, so we have some experience in creating and cultivating a garden. Also we have some experience in making and the usage of Terra Preta. After school I was working on a farm (sheep & cattle) which is some time ago but there is some experience in taking care of animals. I am very passionate about cooking and also experimented with fermentation. I love to carve wood and built some smaller pieces of furniture and lamps so far.
