I am 76 years of age, healthy and active. In October 2013, I moved from my Rocky Mountain Idaho home and inadvertently became a nomad. I do spend any time I can on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, where I wish I could live. Meanwhile, since my maternal grandparents were Hungarian, I am slowly learning the language for citizenship. As a writer, I worked as a journalist in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho and wrote two UK travel books: 'Gimme the Song o' the Pipes! Crazy American Lady Tours Historical Scotland' and 'Crazy American Lady's Historical Tour of England and Wales'. My latest project is a small manuscript of essays about my life in Hungary. I am also a poet and have been a performer for most of my life, as a singer, actor and street performer. I have an English degree, have studied music theory and film and have good knowledge of health, massage/shiatsu, and natural health care. I am very handy, good-natured, conscientious, clean, organized, affectionate and loving and am extremely fond of animals and other living critters. I enjoy intelligent conversation and laughter with friends. I tutor English online and would work my schedule around those hours.

English language/tutoring, journalism, interviewing, blogging, writing, helping with speeches (writing and delivery)/; public relations, organizing events and business promotion; cooking, house care, gardening; painting, sewing; handy with general maintenance--able to fix faucets and figure things out. I have much experience singing, tho am very rusty due to lifestyle, and have enjoyed coaching people in acting and singing in the past :)

I am also available for pet/house sitting. I am looking for a place to grow, be helpful and live a peaceful life. I am tired of being a nomad. Am currently in Boise, Idaho, but can't afford to settle in the US, so I keep moving like a hamster on a wheel! My mother was born in Nova Scotia, so I am a Canadian citizen w/passport (but have only seen Vancouver). I am considering settling in eastern Canada and want to experience it. I also have been spending a lot of time in Hungary and Romania, but am not able to stay for long, and since I am an October baby, I love/prefer rain and cooler climate.
