Hi! My name is Ambika. I'm 19 years old and from Germany. I want to spend the next year travelling and volunteering. My main goal is it to make as many new experiences as possible, learn new skills on the way and get to know new amazing people! While doing so I'd love to support your projects by helping out.
In my free time I love being creative. I oilpaint, play the guitar (though I'm not very good at it) and I really enjoy cooking new vegan dishes. I'm a quite active person. I do strength training and I go running. I like spending time in nature, going for an adventurous hike or just for a chill little walk. I also read a lot. I like languages and I'd love to learn more. So far I speak English, Swedish and of course German.

I started volunteering in September 2025 in Northern Italy and continued my journey to Portugal, from there all the way to Guatemala. Then I travelled south, through Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
All the workaways I did so far have been very diverse, from weeding four hours a day to painting a mural, working with rescued animals or volunteering at a hostel in the middle of the rainforest. It‘s been an increadible time so far!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As mentioned, I've been travelling mainly through workaway since September, so I do have quite a lot of volunteering experience. I‘m a quite adaptable and flexible person. My volunteering experience includes gardening, working on an eco-farm, working at an animal sanctuary, mural painting, building a concrete floor and working in a hostel. I love trying out new things and I‘m very open about volunteering in new fields.
