Description

I am an enthusiastic and positive team player who enjoys putting energy into making the world a bit better everywhere I go. I have years of experience and am grateful for workaway because it has allowed me to learn new skills and experience places and people that I never otherwise would have. I have been busy finishing my Environmental Studies and Studio Art degrees, and since covid, have not had the opportunity to volunteer the way I used to.
This winter I am hoping to find a warm destination where I can help assist in making someone's dreams come to life. Some of my more specific skills are gardening, childcare, waste management, grant writing, painting, 3D Design, and project management. My spanish skills are definitely rusty since I have not practiced in a couple of years, but I am sure they will return right away. My goal is to become fluent, so I would love to find a position that will allow me to practice.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with a variety of work. I have worked multiple jobs with childcare, customer service and in fast paced restaurants. I also have experience with behind the scenes work like organization, paperwork and basic management skills. This past fall I interned on a permaculture farm and cafe where I learned basics of gardening and sustainable agriculture practices. Through these experiences I have gained a strong work ethic and teamwork skills.
