Description
Hi!
We are Luca & Álmos, a couple from Hungary.
We love learning and teaching, cooking and eating, having good conversations, and also adventures, nature, animals and meeting interesting people. We are fascinated by foreign cultures and love learning languages. We are relaxed, helpful, open-minded, and curious.
We studied psychology and have a bachelor's degree. We are familiar with volunteering at home. Additionally, we have teaching experience, we get along well with both adults and children, we have experience in beekeeping, we are good presenters, and we enjoy working with our hands and creating things. We can also translate. We speak English, Spanish, and Italian.
Luca:
This year, I worked at a Waldorf school, so alternative teaching methods are close to my heart. I have learned a lot about teaching children with special educational needs and I know how to collaborate with teachers.
I am experienced in teamwork and I love doing crafts, whether alone or in a group. I have a lot of experience in ceramics, having made many useful items. Besides that, I love crafts, refurbishing, and recycling things. I enjoy working on joint projects with others.
I am experienced in cooking, mainly preparing vegetarian and plant-based dishes.
Álmos:
I’ve been a programmer, teacher, beekeeper, and now I’m studying to be a psychologist. This year I worked with the elderly as a volunteer, leading a self-help group. I have experience teaching English to children and adults both in groups and individually. I also taught adults how to use computers in order to bridge the digital gap.
I'm interested in DIY projects, although I don't have much experience in them.
For the last 10 years I’ve been taking care of about 20 bee colonies in my small apiary. I am curious about nature, I know the world of bees and mushrooms well.
I love to cook.
What are we looking for? It is important for us to be in good company. We would like to have our own room. We would love to get to know the locals' lifestyle, culture, music, and food. We like to feel useful.Centres d’intérêt
