Hello !! My name is Alice, and im 24.
I'm originally born and raised in London, and work as an english teacher :) However, my love for nature and animals, requires for me to take very frequent breaks from the bustling metropolis. Enjoying the magic of nature and our animals ! Last year I loved my travels so much I ended up moving to a little town in Central America and teaching there for a bit :) Much better than the city I think !

I am once again in flying mode and ready for a new adventure ! I would love to contribute to environmental projects that centre on bettering and loving our environment, as well as any community work, and/or personal projects too!! :) I loveeee animals and connect deeply to nature therefore would love to meet indviduals as well as communities where these priorities are shared and valued . I want to learn and contribute by helping in any way that I can !

Along my travels I like getting involved with and participating in volunteer/ work exchanges; where I have worked as a recpetionist for different hostels/ and hotels in Central America as well as conscious communities .

I am super excited to rejoin the workaway community, and look forward to meeting and sharing this magic with warm and kind people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a certified English teacher (EFL) and normally teach classes and individuals of all ages and ethnic backgrounds :) working with children in nursery/ kindergarten as well as middle school/secondary school students and private one to ones for Zurich Bank's consultants in their Italian branch (also offering translating services through Zurich) . So if its something you'd be interested in, whether its helping you learn or improve your English, or translating, I would love to offer my support in anyway that I can.
(As well as English teaching, I also provide Italian tutoring for anyone looking to learn i am native italian and have completed my .)

I also LOVE art, all of it. Painting, drawing, pottery and pictures. Especially pictures!! Indeed I have been exploring this love of photography since I was a small child. I have an online website portfolio (Alicesmangoes.com) where I sometimes upload and explore with photographs and video edits. I also love to write!!! So if I can be of assistance in any way, whether it's through : writing, or photography/videography, it would be my pleasure to share and help with what I can! I also enjoy painting and have helped with paint jobs around hostels and surf stands :)

I have experience doing reception work as well as customer service over the years. I can contribute to household chores such as cleaning and cooking- always important! I have worked in events, for private members club in London. My specific role as events hostess, taught me how to accommodate to large groups of people as well as learn awareness on how to handle many different needs at once.

I have educational experience in international relations and anthropology. Additionally, I have also worked in a nursery and as a nanny for a few years, having large amounts of experience with children. As well as having private students and classes, being a certified EFL Teacher.
