We are two best friends from Hamburg, Germany who share many special memories growing up, traveling and living together.

Hey, I’m Lilli! Creativity is what brings me joy and motivates me to get up on the morning - in all different forms. I am a writer and filmmaker, I love to dance and sing and DJ and play the piano. As a trained journalist, my curiosity about the world drives me, and I believe that traveling offers the most enriching way to learn and grow. Yet traveling for me has always been about more than just experiencing different cultures – I wish to connect with people on a deeper level. I am excited to build meaningful connections while working together and to appreciate the power of community.

Hey, I am Alena. My biggest passion is music. Back home in Germany, I study music education with a focus on bass and piano, as well as music science with a special interest in ethnomusicology. Music and sound make me feel connected to others, to our world, and ultimately to myself. I also love to cook, to create tasteful sensations - with all the fresh vegetables and herbs - which is one of the things I am mostly looking forward to when traveling: experiencing and learning about the world's cuisines. Next to my creative and curious side, I also have a lot of fun getting handy, like building stuff from wood, which I did at my home in Hamburg and at a festivals I helped build up. Living in a community is what I aim for in my future and therefore wish to learn a lot about what living in a community does actually entail as well as permaculture and how we can live in harmony with nature.
