Hi, I’m Tian Yun (you can call me Emma), a Chinese traveler currently based in Germany.

I’m an artist and performer, working part-time and volunteering with an international theatre organization in Frankfurt now. I enjoy all kinds of creative work — dancing, painting, decorating, photography — and I love bringing new energy into the spaces I live in.

Over the past years, I’ve traveled to more than 30 countries across five continents. For me, traveling is not just about seeing places, but about connecting with people and becoming part of local life.

🌿 What I can offer

I’m a hands-on, adaptable, and creative person. I enjoy contributing in different ways:

🎨 Art & decoration (murals, painting, handmade projects — I love making spaces feel more alive)
💃 Dance & creative activities (teaching, performing, sharing movement)
🏡 Hostel & guesthouse help (10+ hostels across the Americas)
🎥 Creative media (filming, interviewing, and basic editing — e.g. a tree protection project in Greece)
🌱 Gardening & eco projects (tree planting, sustainability work)
👶 Family support (children, animals, daily life help)

I learn quickly, take initiative, and I’m comfortable both working independently and as part of a team.

🌍 My experience

Some highlights of my journey:

·Volunteered in India and Kenya (children and community projects)
·Worked as a professional street dancer in China
·Trained and worked as a florist in Australia
·Spent nearly a year traveling slowly across Asia, and nearly 2 years across Oceania and the Americas
·Created murals and art in many places I stayed
·Lived close to nature during the pandemic — farming, building, creating
·In Germany: worked with horses, joined family life, helped with renovations and art projects

I’m open-minded and easygoing with people who share a similar mindset. For me, mutual respect, honest communication, and trust are the foundation of any good connection — whether it’s living, working, or sharing space.

I enjoy sharing stories, food, and everyday moments, but I also appreciate personal space and quiet time. I believe a healthy balance between connection and independence makes any living environment more comfortable and sustainable.
