Hello !
My name is Agathe devargas. I'm 27 and I'm a sailing instructor in France. I'm passionate about travel and all kinds of adventure! I'm a huge fan of cooking and for me the most important thing is to be with the right people to share a meal. I value meeting new people, joking around and sharing present. Living surrounded by nature is essential 🌸

I am currently in India where I did my yoga teacher training (200YTT).

In 2023/2024, I sailed from France to Panama. Crossing the Atlantic and boat hitchhiking in the West Indies were extremely enriching moments for me, full of beauty. I learned a lot about the world of sailing, but also about myself.

After my professional reconversion (from engineer to sailing instructor), I'm following a personal path full of discoveries and passion. At the end of my 2024 season at my sailing school, I want to live in a community. My desire to learn in specific areas is growing all the time. I'd like to discover the world of permaculture and medicinal plants, also alternative habitats such as Cob Houses and finally continue to develop my extrasensory abilities and the practice of yoga and reiki 🌱

I'm extremely grateful to the universe and to the people who have accompanied me on this journey of self-exploration. I'm now looking for a place, a group of people or simply a project aligned with who I am and with whom I can exchange my energy to create something beautiful.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My skills are quite varied. I went to engineering school in France and then worked in Paris for 2 years. I wasn't fulfilled in that environment, so I decided to redirect my career towards my passion : sailing.
I did my sailing instructor degree and have now been a qualified instructor since October 2023. I've been teaching for 2 years and did 3 seasons in France and some time in Sardinia.
I love the seasonal world and its energies.

I just graduated from Vrinda Yoga School in India (200h). I am at the beginning of my path but I would be happy to share without any pretensions.

Last September I did a workaway experience in a mediation and yoga center in France. I was in charge for the preparation and organisation of every vegetarian meals. I took a real pleasure to serve guests.

Then this year, when I was in Panama, I worked as a hostess on a charter boat. I was in charge of preparing vegetarian and fish meals in the boat's small kitchen. I learned a lot from an organizational point of view! During charters, I was also in charge of keeping the boat's common areas clean and tidy. I also prepared the arrival of new people on the boat. This experience was extremely enriching from a skills point of view, but also personally, as I had to learn to manage my time and energy (I started at 6:30am until 9:30pm after dinner).

I have a very good contact with children. I was a babysitter when I was younger and I have a diploma in France to supervise children (summer camps, animation centers...).

When I was younger and in order to learn English, I did a workaway for several months in a pub in Ireland. I'm skilled in catering and I've also worked as a waitress in ceremonies (weddings, sporting events).

I'm also very comfortable working with animals, which I really enjoy. It's important for me to give them attention, love and good care.

To resume, I love contact with other people, both children and adults, animals and Mother Nature ☀️

I'm also a beginner in watercolor. I love painting landscapes from my travels.
I practice watersports such as windsurfing, dinghee sailing, and surf. I would love to learn kitesurfing.
I also love to practice stretching, yoga, meditation and reiki.
And finally, I love backgammon game! I alway have mine with me 😉
